Darkness behind the Glittering makeup Industry:A real issue

Makeup industry is booming and currently worth at around 262.21 billion USD and is estimated to grow fourfolds within a decade.
With the rise of internet and social media, heavy marketing and brand endorsements makeup products became essential commoditiy now a day.
Behind this shining and glittering industry there is a dark truth and that is illegal mining of mica. Mica is a major ingredient  that is used in all makeup products as it provides the essential glittering.and india is home to the 8th largest deposits in the world, mica deposits are found in northern edge of chota nagpur platue, hazaribag in jharkhand and Rajasthan.
In late 1980 mica mining was banned by environmental laws but its illegal mining is still an open secret in the country which involves around ten million child labours prone to hazardous atmosphere, and severe health problems.
States like jharkhand in which government failed to provide basic development, employment, industry or schooling system and which also lack the fertile soil making it unsuitable for farming the netizens are forced to involve in this illegal mining of mica to meet thier needs.
Almost 50% of jharkhand population lives under poverty which makes them an easy bait for the middlemen (thekedar)to mine mica illegally at very nominal rates and sell them to the makeup industry at high rates.
Childrens are involved in this illegal mining as they are cheaper, can dug into thin spaces of abandoned mines due to which a lot of children's lost thier life in collapse of thin spaces.this mica mining is pushing them into darker future with health complications, poverty and uneducation.
Our government ,law enforcing agencies and village administration clearly failed to stop this black buisness which promises glitter but delivers only darkness.
State government should provide the locals with better employment opportunities, education and health facilities as it is thier right and must ensure to stop this illegal mining by a step wise plan which consists of first creating awareness, then shifting them to some other sectors and last promising them with alteast basic living amenities.
I think before making false promises of development and becoming a super power we should atleast save our children's from this trap.
