Education:Buisness of maximum proftability
The real purpose of Education was to enlighten one's mind to the direction of betterment of society and to make one capable of deciding right or wrong by his own conscience or wisdom.
but in this materialistic world everything revolves around money and so is our educational system. There is a kind of race of salary packages and the real purpose of education is lost somewhere.
Education these days is a kind of investment and we expect returns as well....the schools charges alarmingly high fee and boast about providing world class education and promise to secure child's future, colleges are like fish market setting thiers price tags on various courses on the basis of placements.
Courses are designed in such a way that they are producing human machines which has only one goal and that's is accumulation of wealth.
In my view the strongest factor behind this whole ramshackled system is fear of failure or getting behind others in the rat race of life.
This fear engendered another gang member in this buisness that is infamous coaching mafias, which are clearly misguiding the youth and taking advantage of this fear of failure.
Indian coaching industry is market of 58088 crore rupess they are just making the situation worse by creating hype of some selective professions and making false promises to the students.
We should remember that india has been home to the finest universities of the world be it takshashila,Nalanda,Vallabhi or Pushpagiri which not only gave spiritual insights but also indepth courses were offered in different fields such as Ayurveda,Neetishastra(policy making),Rankaushal(art of warefare) and many more.
I think india needs to learn from its past and need a solid, rigid and ubiquitous system of education which empowers the youth to think more rationally and focus on individual identification methods of teaching so that potential must be tracked and tapped early.
